Calling All Motherless Daughters
A Note from Teri
Hope Edelman and I are hosting a free evening for motherless daughters, and I’d love for you to join us.
Who is Hope? She is the author of the book Motherless Daughters. It’s been such an important book in my life that I give it to every friend who looses her mother.
We’ll be talking on Zoom about how to stay connected to a loved one you’ve lost—especially a mother—through the rituals of the season. A gathering of motherless daughters sharing how we keep our mothers present in our lives—during the holidays and on all the ordinary days, too. Our mothers often hold a kind of magic for us, and it’s beautiful to reflect on the ways we continue to carry that magic forward.
If you want to read about how I honor the people in my life whom I’ve lost, click HERE for a Substack about my dear friend Barbara who passed away Thanksgiving morning this year, and another one about my parents, whom I honor through magical symbols HERE.
The Zoom call will be December 21.
